Last weekend saw a great team turn-out for the first of this years Scott MTB Marathons at Builth Wells.  We are big fans of this series of events and Builth Wells is one of the best of the bunch, always brilliantly well organised with lots of riders taking part in the night ride on the Saturday and the various distance categories on the Sunday.  The weather this year presented a few more challenges for the riders with the muddy descents catching a few riders out, but everyone enjoyed it nonetheless.

Here are some photos from the event:

Blue Steel and Magnum otherwise known as Lee Duplain and Sean Rock.

Phil Simcock with his daughters Iona and Ciara after 43km and 3900ft of climbing!  Well done girls!

Alex Watts still smiling despite choosing to singlespeed it!

Cathy Jones and Carl Salisbury ready for the off.

Andrew Williamson pre night race.  You’d never know he used to be a catalogue model!
