Three members of Team JMC (Pete Wilson, Mark Summers and Craig Dootson) have recently completed the Three Peaks of Yorkshire Challenge. This is the second time the trio of walkers has completed the challenging walk in an effort to raise funds for The British Red Cross.
The walk itself takes in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough and scales over 5,000 feet. At just over 24 miles long the walk must be completed within 12 hours in order for the walkers to qualify for the Three Peaks of Yorkshire Club.
The team beat its 2010 time of 9hrs 20mins with an impressive time of 8hrs 59mins and also raised £370 for charity.
