The Team JMC Sportathon Challenge 2015 raised £1045 for the Salford Central Foodbank, supporting their valuable work in the local community. The challenge came to a close last Friday reaching a huge 2090km total distance over 10 days – smashing the 2015km target.

Over 55 participants accumulated the kilometres commuting to/from work or doing activities during lunchtime. The great weather meant there was plenty of walking, running, cycling and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions taking place in and around the building.

Medals were awarded to those who contributed the most distance to the challenge and a Fitness Band was up for grabs in a prize draw for anyone reaching over 10km individually.

Look out for next year’s charity challenge as part of Sport Relief 2016.
