Several Team JMC cyclists took part in the Rivington 100, unusually in glorious sunshine ride last weekend. With all proceeds being donated to MedEquip4Kids by the organiser and JMC also raising money for the same charity during this financial year, we were keen to support the event as much as we could.

In addition to the good turnout of riders leading out the ride from the start in Horwich, Team JMC also provided a “feed station” approximately halfway around the route. Situated in the small village of Dunsop Bridge, members of JMC staff gave up their time to bake cakes and to look after hungry riders on the day.

Most of the riders donated money in return for the various slices of homemade flapjack, cookies, fruit cake and banana loaf and the feedstation raised over £80 for the Team JMC Charity Challenge.
