Team JMC runners Sally Burgess and Louise Watson raced in their first ever marathons at last weekends Greater Manchester Marathon.  Despite the most atrocious weather, with very strong winds and heavy rain, both finished the event with excellent times.  Sally finished in 4 hours and 28 mins and came 35th in her class.  Louise finished in 3 hours and 55 mins and finished 58th in class.  Top effort from both racers in the most demanding conditions.
